Veramar is a quality development set in the most beautiful gardens. All year long the gardens are full of spectacular colour and the views from the swimming pool are unrivalled (see picture). The swimming pool has to be in the best position of all pools and is wonderfully placed overlooking the beach and sea. The swimming pool is the pride and joy of Pepe, and is cleaned and checked everyday (except Sunday) so it is always in top condition. Take a few steps down the private beach entrance and you’re on the Playa de Cristo (see below). What more could one want? You can walk to the Port across the beach passing the two beach bars or even stop at the bars for a little light refreshment or two. The food here is most excellent. The port is only a 10 min walk whichever route you take, either by beach or along the tree lined pavement. The main entrance has automatic security gates which keeps the development private. There is also a telephone entry phone system to each apartment block for added security and privacy. Rada beach is on the other side of the Port and would take you 15 mins at the most to walk there.

The apartments are clean, nicely furnished and well decorated. There is a fully fitted modern kitchen with a washing machine, cooker, fridge freezer, micro-wave and as you would expect a kettle and toaster. The living rooms have marble floors, with rugs for extra comfort. The balconies adjoin the main living rooms and they have marbled flooring and are accessible through large glass sliding doors. They are a most pleasant place to be for a glass of wine late in the evening. The bedrooms both have fitted wardrobes. The other bedroom has two single beds. Although people still seem to prefer to bring their own linen, sheets and quilts are all in the apartment. The modern bathroom has a bath, shower, toilet, wash basin and of course a bidet (no lizard jokes please). The three bedroom apartment is tiled throughout and has a full sea view looking towards Gibraltar ( positioned less than 200 ft away from the sea ) and overlooks the gardens and pool.

We have local agents that look after the upkeep of the apartments. They are at hand to solve any utility problems that might suddenly arise, or lost keys! They also ensure that the apartment is clean before your holiday starts and after you leave they come and do the ‘final’ clearing up. The “communidad of properties” do have a number of rules that should be adhered to wherever possible, like towels over balconies (frowned upon), as this all helps to maintain the very high standard of the apartments. If you require a cleaner this can also be arranged.
